This section of my blog is my evaluation for my project 1 which is the ''How to'' video. The topic I chose to do for my project is camera angles
This is my finished project 1 video. I made it look like it is a 1920s old cinema film. It took me a very long time to edit this project as I used a lot of different greenscreen and video effects in this project. The green screen segments that I recorded also took a long time to make because I had to make a script for this project. I've used premiere pro to edit this project.

This is a screen shot of my editing process for my project 1 video. As you can see I added a lot of things to it. I've added the following effects to my video: Ultra key for my green screen segments which makes the green disappear. Monochrome faded where it makes your video clip turn into a black and white one. I've also used an effect called drop shadow which adds a shadow behind your video or image

This is a screen shot of my timeline for my project 1. I've added some background music to my video to fit my aesthetic theme of the 1920s cinema feel that I was going for. It took me a week to edit my video and it took me 2 - 3 days to finish recording everything. I've recorded a voice over using a zoom h1n and lavaier microphone
I've recorded my camera angles in a nature reserve park near by. The location recce document will be in my pre production section of my blog.
The things I'm really proud of is, that I've finished my video on the deadline and also I'm proud of my editing capabilities. Even though it took me quite a while to do everything it's been worth making the video with my hardest efforts. I enjoyed editing the video because, I could practice my editing and also prove to myself that I can do it. During the period when the first project started I never actually had a proper idea of what I'm making until like halfway through the project. I had a lot of ideas for it. I was thinking of doing the lighting instead of the camera angles but I'm glad I picked camera angles for my project because it was probably the most fun one to make.
I also had a lot of themes to go with it my first idea for my theme was to make a 80s training tape montage on how to do camera angles and I thought about it for a long time and I decided to change it last minute. you see, when I was editing my project I gone ahead to do the montage at first I was like halfway done and I didn't really like it the reason being is the way I edited it. I've used some cool video effects to go with it like vhs static, 80s themed background and 80s music but I figured out that it doesn't really fit so I chose to do a 1920s old cinema theme.
Sound and audio
The sound audio part of the project was probably one of my favourites because I enjoyed editing on adobe audition and also I liked using the sound recorders during the first project. I've used the sound recorders more often than usual.
Using adobe after effects
I really liked using adobe after effects because I liked using the digital effects that were on there. For example the transitions. The main reason why I liked using After effects is because I'm really interested in digital animation and I think using digital animation for any media project is cool. I really enjoyed all the after effects lessons I had because I got to practice my skills and also use a software that I don't use often for my projects.
